Heli-Skiing Tours

Heli-ski tours of between 3 to 7 days are available through TLH Heliskiing, based at the Tyax Wilderness Resort, on the shores of beautiful Tyaughton Lake, approximately 125 miles (200 km) north of Vancouver, British Columbia. Tours cover a territory of 830,000 acres in the South Chilcotin Mountains with over 300 named and mapped runs. From high alpine glaciers and bowls to challenging tree-terrain amongst the spectacular old growth forests, there is a variety terrain, an abundance of dry powder snow and all the sunshine and awe inspiring views you could ask for.

As part of your package, you will stay at the Tyax Wilderness Resort with access to all amenities including hot tub, sauna, gym, wireless internet, massage therapy, gift shop and ski shop. Snowmobiles, ice skates and hockey sticks for the frozen Tyaughton Lake are available to use in the event of a down day (on average one-half down day per week). Tours include buffet breakfast, a hearty lunch with dessert and hot and cold drinks served picnic-style on the mountain, an après session, and buffet dinner complete with a dessert table. The bar houses a variety of wine and spirits. Also included in all packages are return transfers between the Resort and Vancouver or Whistler.

3 to 7 Day Tours

Tours include accommodation at the Tyax Wilderness Resort, gourmet dining, and return ground transfers from either Vancouver or Whistler. Upgrades to helicopter transfers and chalet accommodations are available at extra cost. Your heli-ski tour gives you a helicopter for each group, so there's no waiting, unlimited vertical, 10-15 runs per day, certified ACMG Ski Guides, K2 powder skis and safety equipment including ABS pack and Peips avalanche transceivers.

Small Group Packages

Book your group of 4 to 10 people for 5 days or 7 days of skiing with a private Bell 407 helicopter, maximum 2 groups per helicopter. Includes certified ACMG Ski Guides, K2 powder skis and safety equipment (including ABS pack and Peips avalanche transceivers) as well as accommodation at the Tyax Wilderness Resort, gourmet dining, and return ground transfers from either Vancouver or Whistler. Upgrades to helicopter transfers and chalet accommodations are available at extra cost.

Private Platinum Tours

For groups of up to 10 people, this Platinum package includes the use of a private helicopter with unlimited vertical and 2 guides for 5 days or 7 days. Also includes all transfers within Vancouver between the airport, hotel and heliport, accommodation in Vancouver both pre and post heliskiing, return helicopter transfer between Vancouver and TLH helisking (weather permitting), and luxury chalet accommodation during your tour. Chalet services include a private chef for gourmet in-chalet meals and picnic lunches on the mountain, a private massage therapist, concierge, resort facilities and $1000 in alcoholic beverages. Customized options are available on request. Powder skis and safety equipment are provided.
