Whistler Family Christmas

The Village is something right out of a storybook at any time of year but over the Christmas season it really does transform into a magical place. Thousands of lights twinkle from all the trees and every building in a seemingly endless display and the snowdrifts line the pedestrian stroll as families from around the globe mosey along with a twinkle in their eye. Restaurants are bustling and vibrant, shops are peddling unique gift opportunities, and the abundance of winter activities has everyone in a cheerful and festive mood. And of course there’s the main reason this fabled mountain village exists in the greatest ski resort in North America.

Carving big rooster tails and perfect edges down corduroy trails and deep cuts through the snowy glades beneath branches draped in tree moss. Riding the Peak 2 Peak gondola and peering down 1,400 feet into the valley below before skiing down to a legendary après spot or your cozy chalet with the fireplace glowing and welcoming you home. Gather your family and make it a holiday for the memory banks: safety deposit box; best one yet.
