The sun is shining and bikini season is now officially upon us. And even if you’re not as beach toned as you’d like to be, hey you just gotta own it, girl! But of course it wouldn’t hurt to revitalize your body and get nice and vibed up for the rest of the summer. So gather your girlfriends and come up to Whistler for an active midweek getaway. Journey up to the Aspens on Blackcomb, a premier ResortQuest property located slope-side right on Blackcomb Mountain. Stretch it out in the afternoon with a Pilates class at Whistler Pilates, the only Classical Pilates studio in town. Equipped with state of the art Peak and Gratz equipment, this is the optimal way to start your training for the best beach bod.

The next morning, enjoy a breakfast full of fiber (and perhaps a strong coffee) and head out hiking. It’s the perfect exercise for thighs and glutes. Choose the tour that will keep you the most motivated and alert, like the Glacier Hike or the Scrambling Tour. Or, if determined enough, embark on a hardcore hike of your own.

In the evening you’re to complete 50 laps at the pool at Meadow Parks Sport Center. Tough day? Maybe, but you know it’s worth it. Then afterwards you can stroll around the village for a light supper and maybe a rewarding glass of red wine.

Today is the day you venture off into the hills on a Cross-Country Mountain Biking Adventure. Whistler offers spectacular Cross-country Mountain biking from gentle trails to fast and technical single-track riding. If you didn’t bring your bike, you can head out on an organized tour which includes all the gear and up to four riders per guide. The other option than mountain biking is to run. Whistler is a runner’s paradise whether you’re on a training plan or not, endowed with a vast number of trails for all levels of fitness from the paved Valley Trail to the rugged alpine single-track. If you’re a beginner runner we suggest you choose The Lost Lake Loop, Emerald Forest or Green Lake Loop. If this isn’t your first rodeo and you’re looking to really push your limits, then go for Comfortably Numb – a 26km run from Wedgemount to Lost Lake, with elevation changes of more than 1,000m. If you can do this one, your toning mission is complete and you’ve earned yourself a new bikini. Remember what the locals say: go big or go home!

On your last evening in town, treat yourself with a Sports Recovery Massage at Four Seasons Resorts Spa and enjoy a combination of stretching techniques, soothing essential aromas and a relaxing massage. It is designed to rejuvenate stiff, tired and overworked muscles.
