While some hotels aren’t quite as accepting of our beloved pets as we are, other hotels welcome your furry friends with open arms. Pets travel in style at Fairmont Chateau Whistler

Dog friendly policies at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler include:

For the safety of your pet, animals may not be left unattended in the guestrooms.
Pet sitters can be arranged through the Concierge desk (pet-sitting fees apply).
The Furrmont Club (Fairmont’s exclusive dog-friendly program) offers use of plush dog beds, dog bowls, baggies, dog towels for paw scrubs after a walk and turndown service
Dog treats are available through In Room Dining.
A charge of $25.00 per night plus taxes applies for all pets and will be added to your guestroom folio. In the event extra servicing to the room is required upon check-out, an additional charge may apply.

Summit Lodge and Spa

Summit Lodge & Spa is one of the most pet friendly hotels in Whistler that caters to those who love to travel with pets. Not only will your pets be treated like VIP guests, but they can stay for FREE! Before you arrive, Summit Lodge Hotel staff can prepare your room with the appropriate pet supplies, such as a food bowl with treats. When you arrive to check in, you may notice your pet’s name written on the VIP Pets board. Most likely your pet will be welcomed with some cuddles and treats. Summit’s amazing front desk staff love animals and are happy to help with any requests you may have to help your pet’s stay be more comfortable.

Summit requests guests do not leave their pets alone in the hotel room, but are happy to arrange pet sitting/walking. Westin Whistler Resorts & Spa

Westin Whistler Resort & Spa invites dogs to stay for free and they pledge to help you relax and unwind with your canine companion. Upon arrival with your furry friend, you’ll receive a complimentary Westin Heavenly Dog Bed and food bowl with mat for use during your visit.

Dogs cannot be left alone in guest rooms and are not allowed in food and beverage areas. The guest is responsible for any excessive damage or cleaning that is required. Pan Pacific Whistler Village

Pan Pacific Whistler Village offers a contemporary yet intimate ambiance at one of the best boutique hotels in Whistler, and one of our favourite pet-friendly resorts. The Pan Pacific welcomes your extended family with a unique registration card and welcome treats. A pet fee of $25 CAD per pet per night plus tax will apply for additional room cleaning (capped at $100 per pet).Upon check-in at Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre, your canine companion will receive a wonderful amenity package, including: food & water bowl, blanket, pet card to hang outside the door for notification, dog treats, biodegradable poop bags

For each pet guest Pan Pacific will donate C$5.00 per night to WAG (Whistler Animals Galore) animal shelter, a non-profit society for lost and unwanted pets, thus enriching the lives of Whistler animals who need our support and love.

Aava Whistler Hotel

Aava makes the perfect hotel to relax and rejuvenate in affordable style, no matter what you’re here for. Aava offers ‘pet friendly rooms’ for your furry friends with the amazing paths of the Whistler Valley trail just outside the front door. Bring your whole crew to stay and remember there’ll be a charge of $25 (plus taxes) per stay to include your pets in the Aava experience.

Travelling with Pets in Whistler

To keep Whistler safe and clean for all visitors to enjoy, please adhere to the following Resort Municipality of Whistler Bylaws while visiting Whistler with your dog:

Dogs must be on a leash and under your control at ALL times and this includes the Village, trails and parks.
Dogs are not allowed on public beaches except designated dog beach areas at Rainbow Park on Alta Lake, Alpha Lake, and at Lost Lake Park’s Canine Corner.
Please pick up after your dog; the Whistler Municipality provides plastic bags along the Valley Trail and in designated areas.
