There is definitely no shortage of luxurious, high-end hotels in Whistler. Whistler Luxury Hotels segment is a very defined one. The Upper Village is home to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, a traditional upscale hotel featuring 550 guest rooms, an upscale restaurant and a legendary lounge, The Mallard Lounge. Nearby is the relatively new Four Seasons Resort Whistler; a 273 room luxury hotel nestled into the mountains near the lifts and world class golf. Locally they are reputed for their exceptional service and gorgeous European-esque decor. As far as traditional luxury goes, those two hotels still definitely hold the front spots in Whistler.
In the main Whistler Village area, however, there are a few high end but more contemporary hotels. The Westin Resort and Spa Whistler, the Pan Pacific Mountainside and the newer all suite Pan Pacific Village Centre, and the Sundial Boutique Hotel are four luxurious high end hotels, but slightly less formal than the more traditional brands. All of them have coveted main village locations, boast great dining experiences, offer spacious suites all with full kitchens, and offer unique services and “little extras” that keep their clientele coming back year after year. Regularly sold out over popular dates, they are all great choices when booking a vacation to Whistler.
